A while back I wrote to you about
trading CFDs through your FX broker, and about a new training program
that will cut your learning curve short and have you placing winning
trades within minutes.
I got some feedback from some of my students, asking how this was possible since their broker did not offer CFDs.
The truth is, you may need to open a
new account with a different broker if your current broker doesn't offer
CFDs (especially if you are in the USA).
The other big question some of you had was whether trading CFDs was really all that profitable.
I could spend an hour explaining it to you, but instead, let me point you in the right direction:
If your current broker doesn't offer the NASDAQ (also called the NAS100 or US100) then go to XM broker and open a demo account. (US traders can open with hugosway broker)
Put up a NAS100 1M chart, and set your trade size to 0.01 (aka a Micro Lot).
Take a trade. It doesn't matter if it's Buy or Sell. Now open the Terminal window and look at your open trade.
You should notice it took about $43 for
you to open a single Micro Lot trade. So now you know you can get into
these trades with very little money in your account.
If you are not looking at the chart
live after 9:30 a.m. eastern time when the actual NASDAQ market opens,
scroll back to that time on previous market day's chart.
Now look at how many times price moved 10-25 pips (or more).
You should know that each pip is worth $1 when trading a single Micro Lot.
How much money could you make simply
trading Micro Lots into all these crazy price moves that make a standard
currency pair chart look like it is dead and ready for the undertaker?
No more sitting for hours trying to scalp 10 pips and being lucky if you win that much.
Now you can limit your trading time to
the fist 30-60-90 minutes after the Indices markets open and make more
pips in a session than you probably made all last month.
