Happy New Year 2022!


  We are already into the New Year of 2022...how are you??


  My husband Terry and I have been on a slow healing journey. It began with a fall cleanse. We have learned so much...which is often the case when you are immersed in your own healing. What I know for sure is you can heal and the timing...is not always up to you.

  You also have to treat and care for all the bodies: physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, and etheric (energetic)

  Our wellness food and spiritual practices have kept us on the healing path! As food wellness coaches and chefs we have learned more about the humbling experience of taking the time to HEAL.

From our kitchen to yours!

Recipe...Pumpkin Almond Cookies  

                       A cookie to talk about!

 

¾ cup of almond butter

¼ cup of ghee or butter

1/2 cup of cassava flour

  ½ sorghum or millet flour

¼ cup ground flax seeds

½ tsp baking powder

1tsp baking soda

1/2tsp salt

2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp ground nutmeg

2 tsp ground ginger

 1/8 cup maple syrup or ¼ c monk fruit

2 free-range eggs

 1-15oz organic pumpkin (or fresh pumpkin flesh)

¼ dried cherries or cherries (optional)

 

Preheat oven to 325 and grease cookie …I use coconut oil or ghee

In a large bowl…mix flours…spices…baking powder…baking soda…sea salt…ground flax seeds

In another medium bowl mix eggs (beaten first)

             melted butter or ghee…mix in maple syrup

               or monk fruit...then add pumpkin…mix

     using a tablespoon or rolling into small balls mix flattening them out on greased cookie sheet (I use ghee or coconut oil) Add a cherry or cranberry in center of cookie...Enjoy...Bon Appetit
