Subject: is passive income a myth?

our income streams, what you need to know about recurring revenue + a free invitation

Friend, if you’ve watched our live streams or videos, you know we ALWAYS talk about setting up multiple streams of income.

But there’s this myth about passive income.

Some people have this idea that you do nothing at all and money somehow magically appears in your account. After all, it should be passive, right?

Not true, I’m afraid!

Creating passive income means creating an asset upfront that you can then make money from time and time again.

The hard work is upfront … but once you figure it out, it really can become ‘passive’!

I find a lot of people forget about the ‘hard work upfront’ part.

We have built multiple passive income streams in our business and each one required some level of effort - some more than others. (see slide below from one of our presentation decks 👇🏻)

Currently, passive income makes up 30% of our total business revenue, which can still be a nice chunk of change.

For example, we have YouTube videos on our channel, posted from years ago, that still earn us ad revenue (passive income) every month.

So far, the channel has earned over $133,475 in ad revenue alone (as seen below).

And I can truly say that the level of effort is worth it because the channel continues to pay us recurring revenue, which adds a significant amount of time and freedom to our lives.

BUT

… and this is a big butt (see what I did there? 🙃)

This email isn’t about telling you to start a YouTube channel.

Most people don’t want to be on YouTube (and that’s fine, it’s not for everyone).

Which brings me to what you need to know….

You must find the right type of passive income stream for you.

Because if you don’t, you’ll end up with an abandoned or half-created project that doesn’t produce much (or worse - nothing at all!).

And it’s not because ‘it doesn’t work’.

It ALL works.

It’s because it doesn’t work FOR YOU.

And trust me, speaking from experience with many flopped passive income stream ideas, this can make a HUGE difference in the outcome/results you get.

So how do you know what passive income stream is right for you?

And how do you know if your efforts will actually pay off?

I want to introduce you to the QUEEN of recurring revenue, Lisa Johnson.

I met Lisa at a female business networking group and we instantly connected because:

  1. I knew I could learn a lot from this woman, and

  2. The Essetino community is all about setting up a solid passive income stream (like creating a course or a digital product, etc.) so they can have more time and enjoy life more!

This inspiring woman (featured on TEDx, HuffPost, BBC, and Fast Company, just to name a few) has helped over 5,000 people add passive and semi-passive revenue streams to their businesses - some of whom have gone on to do multi-million dollar launches.

So I asked Lisa if she has any resources that I could share with my community (aka YOU 🙂) on first steps, how to actually go about choosing a passive income stream, building it right and making it work.

She told me about her FREE 4-day challenge Race To Recurring Revenue and I am now extending that invitation to you.

In this challenge, you’ll learn:

  • What types of recurring revenue streams are right for you

  • The 5 step system Lisa uses with all of her clients to add in recurring revenue streams

  • The biggest mistakes people make when it comes to recurring revenue

  • What you already have that can make you recurring revenue now

  • How you can make money from passive income even if you have a 9-5 job

It’s a time-sensitive challenge, so if you’re interested, click here now to claim your spot.

P.S. I also invited Lisa to be a guest on our live stream THIS Friday, February 16 at 11am PT so we can pick her brain on all things passive income 😀 Put the date/time in your calendar if you can make it and I’ll send another email in the next day or so with the link.

Talk soon!
