Dear Friend
In Late Spring, the Pleiades are setting on the western horizon at dawn. This phenomenon marks the shift into calmer waters to the windward side of the Hawaiian islands. Many beaches along the coast become more exposed as the tidal conditions drop away from the shore. It also means clear, glassy waters that are safer to play in - a welcome change from the wild and often treacherous 40-foot waves that come in the winter, churning up the sea bottom.
The tides continue to turn. Season after season, the rhythms of time and space give us patterns of constantly changing conditions. The Earth is spinning on its axis, the moon encircling in a constant spiral, and both are rotating around the Sun ~ a perfect and remarkable geometry in motion.
And so is our lives. We learn to live with the deeper processes as background static. If we stop to look back, we can only be in awe of how we have traversed joys and heartaches or built that thing - yet only again to revisit or rework it differently. The invisible encircles us, along with the planets and constellations.
Every cycle is a chance to evolve. If I can meet each one with the knowledge that I can learn, grow, and receive something from it, I will. What I heal in myself shapes me into a better teacher, healer, friend, and fellow traveler. As I break through resistance and unravel dysfunctional patterns within my psyche, I am given the tools to assist others in doing the same. My practice becomes my teaching.
I feel blessed to share three incredible opportunities to immerse, train, retreat, and voyage together. Each magical destination provides a central point in which our lives can intersect - where we can do deep and wonderful work on ourselves. As I celebrate my next circle around the sun on June 4, I wish for a year of playfulness, wonder, and connection.
Offering my presence as the seas change,
