Aloha Friend ~ This month, I learned that taking my herbs and vitamins twice daily was the pattern interruption I needed to reset my energy for the new year. A seemingly small act has produced a ripple effect that has allowed me to embrace other, more potent shifts and decisions. As a sensitive, I have discovered that uncomfortable symptoms show up when I am out of alignment or need to make a change. My body's sensations and any dysregulated emotions invite me to listen with compassion, attend to the message, and ask for the support needed. Somatic work, such as Yin Yoga, Acupressure, and Reiki, safely assists in building new neural regulation pathways and provides essential skills for shifting trauma response patterns in the body, heart, and brain. | | Cloud Nine Yoga Reunion Retreat After many years of dreaming, I am elated to announce our 25th Anniversary Cloud Nine Yoga School Reunion Retreat! The wish to create a celebration started 7 years ago when I moved to Kauai. With divine grace, our guest facilitator and kirtan artist, Larisa Stow, and her family purchased a sacred parcel of land once used as a monastery in Cornville, AZ. We will be among the first to experience this newly renovated home sanctuary on the outskirts of stunning Sedona. With room to sleep up to 20 people, a full-service kitchen, dining area, living room, and Shambhala Hall for our practices—along with several acres of landscape with a seasonal creek to explore—Shiloh is ideal for this special occasion. As your Yoga Fairy Godmother, I’ll offer a daily practice of all the ‘Erika class’ offerings you’ve come to know and love. We will provide meals, sunrise/sunset ceremonies, and lots of free time to commune in nature. Come to share in Yoga, Music, and the Arts in the spirit of renewal and inspiration.
