MENTAL HEALTH IS THE GREATEST WEALTH!
Between 2019 - 2021, I recorded over 140 live classes. Meeting via Zoom while we passed time at home was a way to feel connected, draw some positive energy from within, and get a sense of community. We supported ourselves and each other through uncertain times.
Are we any more certain now? If anything, we may need Mental Health practices even more! Life feels fragile and the world's troubles can stick to us. We need to be compassionate without losing ourselves, stay strong without tightening, to use patience and flexibility without undermining our sovereignty. It is a tall order.
Life is a dynamic, ever-shifting kaleidoscope of highs, lows, and everything in between. It is the nature of humans to feel - think - react. Our body carries stories of our experiences, even those of our ancestors. One way of healing ourselves is by simply knowing this. As we integrate, learn from, and actually address the pains we inherited through our family lineage or life situations, their power to keep hurting us diminishes. Though this path is winding and often bumpy, it is worth the lighter, happier moments that we make room for; and we train ourselves to cope with those rising tides and storms in healthier ways.
There will probably always be a need to Elevate Our Mental State; it is our destiny to find resilience, courage, and deep care through the waves. These Yoga Class recordings will help. They will provide some humor, kindness, and an anchor for your body, mind, and spirit to set forth and prosper. Energy moves. Body releases. The heart opens. The mind begins to feel freer and more peaceful.
Whatever is holding us back has a gift for us. Your time on the mat helps you to arrive inside the body temple, move tenderly, and let shit go. That feels good. Sometimes the pain and hurt will arise - for whatever reason - and the classes will assist you in finding a bit of relief.
