It has diverse natural scenic beauty with a coastline and climate that rival California. It is well-maintained and comfortable, yet retains the heritage – it is unspoiled to this day.
It is the oldest country in Europe with deep history. We’ll spend time in incredible castles, palaces, fortresses and visit a medieval castle in a walled city. The cathedrals are extraordinary and ornate, some drenched in gold. The museums have the sailing ships that crossed the Atlantic, carriages used by royalty over the centuries, and much more.
We take you to the best places to enjoy the delicious food and wine. We’ll begin in Lisbon, the capital and continue to Porto, stopping along special places on the Portuguese Riviera to stay in excellent quality hotels with charm and elegance.
This wonderful place is clean, safe, and many locals speak English. The friendly and hospitable Portuguese people welcome foreigners with open arms. We consistently get rave reviews from our seasoned travelers about Portugal!
