Just back from a Portugal Expedition from Lisbon to Porto with a lot more -- fabulous feedback! The lighthouse above is at Cabo da Roca, the most Westerly tips of land on continental Europe. (Put this one on your Travel Dream List. We'll offer it again.)
In two weeks, we leave to the Portuguese islands of Madeira and the Azores. It's a scenic wonderland -- and the islands offer us whale watching, swimming with dolphins, and much more. |

- Central Asia Expedition is Sep 2 to 21 with Turkmenistan open we visit all 5 Stans and rediscover ancient lands of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
- Himalaya Helicopter Expedition is Oct 21-28 and Oct 28-Nov 4, 2023. If you have not done this one with us - it is my favorite ever - and you only need normal good health to ride in the helicopters.

| Indian-Tibet High Adventure is from July 30 to August 12. You'll have a real adventure in an exotic part of India, it's called, "Indian-Tibet." We do three days of river rafting on the Zanskar and camping under the million stars canopy...then the rest are the best of the authentic lodges. Visiting the temples and meeting the peaceful villagers gives you a understanding of the tremendous Tibetan culture experiences as you see ancient Tibetan temples and serene nature.

BIG NEWS on Central Asia Expedition: Turkmenistan is finally OPEN! Now we can take you from September 2 to 21 and visit all 5 "Stans" - which is ideal! This is another popular expedition. We discover the ancient lands of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan we travel on Marco Polo's Silk Road, we meet locals, watch for Nomads, and see one of the earliest observatories. Then on our visit to Turkmenistan we'll go to the Darwaza Gas Crater (see Brandon pictured there below) and the white marble capital city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. There is nothing like either of these sights anywhere. Here's Rebel in a yurt below -- she reports that it is surprisingly comfortable, so if you've never done this - here is your chance! |

We launched this in 2016 and it is absolutely a mind blowing experience to soar by helicopter to the 8 highest peaks in the Nepal Himalayas and land at basecamps. Both of these are already filling...
We explore the Kingdom of Lo, an authentic Tibetan kingdom tucked away in the Himalayas. Before we invented this adventure of going by helicopter, it used to take two weeks of trekking to get there! Seriously, being up close and flying around those incredible mountains is always a thrill for me - yes, every single time since 2016. |
