| An expedition that has been gaining interest is The Heart of Central Asia. It is traveling overland in remote regions, villages, and very modern cities. The deep history, mix of unique cultures, and extraordinary scenic beauty, such as you see with the lake above, make it very special.
Our travelers on this expedition have found it fascinating and worthwhile. We have some already signed up for this one and can take a few more travelers, so reach out soon.

It's the people who are so wonderful to connect with -- even though we often don't share a language, we see just a glimpse of their lives. Many, believe it or not, have little or no idea of America or Europe in remote areas. Below you see some Tajik children living near the Seven Pearls of Shing. Kids like this all around the world will charm you and remind you of how much we have in common as human beings. |
