Greetings Friend,
If an African Safari is not on your "Dream List" - perhaps it should be! The experience of being in the African bush, seeing the animals and observing their behavior in wild is enormously satisfying -- and cannot fully be conveyed in words.
For animal lovers, it's easy to understand. Yet even those who would not describe themselves as such, are astonished at the experience and how rewarding it is.
This safari is a repeat for us because it is simply wonderful. We stay in luxury lodges with private chefs, open bars, and each morning and late afternoon venture out in game-viewer jeeps with our guide.
Our driver knows the land and where to find the animals. It's also important to know what we DON'T see -- and that is dozens of other groups driving around the area. Sadly, this happens on low-budget safaris, but we do this right -- in an enormous game reserve that has few luxury lodges and covers 3,474 square miles.
Because it was founded as a wildlife reserve in 1938 and national park in 1972, the animals are disinterested in us so we can get close in our jeep to observe them. (I took these photos with my iphone!) The river teems with hippo and crocodile and provides a lifeline for one of the greatest diversities of habitat and wildlife, more than 60 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. You must see this for yourself.
So, do consider joining us late July 2022 for a safari that is the "best" in quality, variety, and life-memorable value.
If you can join us -- or if you are seriously considering it let me know because there's a deadline soon. (I can offer a special price now.)
Or, drop me a line at jack@wheelerexpeditions.com.
Blue Skies,
Jack
P.S. This country requires no vaccine, only a negative Covid test to enter.
