Subject: These 10 keys can unlock your writing career

Hey Friend,

Writing has rarely been straightforward, but the jungle has thickened ever since the Internet went public.

All that used to be the case for writers was looking for someone to publish their work, and then you could sit down and write.

The worst that could happen was enough people would dislike your writing, and your boss would assign you to a different project, or fire you. But you could always go work for someone else.

In today's landscape, to be a full-time writer on your own terms, you need a website, regular posts, a social media presence, and an email list - bare minimum.

What's more, if you're not keeping up with technological trends, what's popular today may be completely ineffective next year.

This is not to say everything will just disappear and reinvent itself year after year, but people's online preferences are always changing, so it's crucial to stay current.

Also, you have to be careful not to say anything disparaging or libelous, because that will follow you forever if it falls into the wrong hands.

As long as you're conscientious and motivated for the right reasons, though, you have a bright future full of potential ahead of you.

In light of that, here is one article I fell in love with a few years back that I recently dug out.

I hope it helps you shape up your current writing goals, and most importantly, take action.

To your writing passions,

Brad

P.S. It's a quick read and well worth it! Tell me what your favorite key is, if you get the chance.
