Subject: Lisa Amos on success

Hi Friend,

We all face failure. If you're not failing somewhere, it probably means you aren't putting in the effort. If you are putting in the effort and you're failing, it means you're stretching the boundaries of your capabilities.

Just remember that everyone who has ever "made it" fell on their face at some point. Just one example is how one of Bill Gates' first ideas was pretty much a flop. If you haven't read about it before though, I don't want to spoil it. Go read it for yourself!

And since failure is a natural part of the journey of success, it's vital to keep the following words top of mind. "Entrepreneurs average 3.8 failures before final success. What sets the successful ones apart is their amazing persistence." - Lisa M. Amos

So remember: when you're wondering again why you started at all, lean on the fact that other hustlers have been here, too. I have certainly been there; no doubt. It's a story I'll share in an upcoming email.

Persistence is what defines the successful versus the unsuccessful. You have to be willing to brave the rocky road to enjoy the smoothest of roads in the future. Take every day one step at a time, and remember to finish what you start.

To all your writing goals,
Brad
