Subject: [WPTI] Watch Out For The Plugin Invasion!

Hi there!

And good day to you! :) I hope you had a great weekend?

I'm feeling rather more chipper, thank goodness...

There was a big yellow thingy in the sky on Saturday, so hubby and I managed to get out for a coastal walk, which is always great for blowing the cobwebs away even though the wind was rather... shall we say... bracing... ;)

Today, I actually managed to complete my kettlebell training for the first time in over 2 weeks, so I reckon I'm on the mend. Woohoo! :)

Have you ever tried to find a WordPress plugin to fill a particular function and felt totally overwhelmed at the huge array of plugins available?

How much time have you wasted researching the best plugins?

How many times have you bought a premium plugin and then discovered you could have got the exact same functionality for free?

Well, I am very happy to tell you that just recently a friend of mine, Thomas Kragsig, showed me a book he's been compiling that solves this problem nicely.

And I have to tell you that I was most impressed! :)

And if you know me, then you'll know that I don't say that lightly!

"Invasion of Destroyer Plugins" is a guide to 120+ WordPress plugins, together with ratings and features as well as things to consider when choosing each plugin.

It makes the process of choosing a plugin super simple!

For anyone familiar with my Undercover Resource Genie guide to free resources, this one is compiled along similar lines.

The book is very well organised into categories such as:
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Social & Commenting
  • Video
  • E-commerce
  • Photography & Galleries
  • Statistics
  • Core Functionality
  • Backup, Optimize & Security
  • Forum, Access & Registration
  • Mails, Posts & Newsletters
  • Other Plugins (Adsense, Weather Plugin)
Plus Thomas includes a section on his own personal favourite plugins, so you can get started quickly :)

It's obvious that a LOT of research has gone into this guide and it's such an awesome idea, that I actually wish I'd thought of it myself!

So if you use WordPress in your business and you'd like an easy way to find the best free plugins, do yourself a favour and check out Invasion of Destroyer Plugins now:

About the Author: Sally Lazarus is an Internet Marketer, wife, mother and massive geek…

She started out as a programmer many moons ago, before the Internet as we know it today was born… No, not in the 1970s. She's not that old! How rude! :P

She's been working online since late 2011. She doesn't claim to know it all. She's still learning too, but she wants to share her knowledge with you and help you succeed online.

She's an ethical marketer and loves helping people to reach their goals. When she sends out a promotion it will always be well thought out, even if it means sending it a day or two after launch.

She will investigate it properly beforehand, get hold of a review copy or buy it herself. She wouldn't recommend anything that she didn't believe in or wouldn't use herself.

Her aim is to save you time by doing the research for you, to make it easier for you to figure out if a particular product is likely to be able to help you reach your goals.
