Subject: [WPTI] Happy New Year + My Biggest Mistake In 2012...

Hi there!

It's Sally Lazarus here, back from the Xmas and New Year break...

And a very happy and successful New Year to you and your family! :)

I don't know about you, but I'm having immense difficulty getting back into the swing of things since the festivities ended...

Perhaps it's because I'm too full of all manner of posh cheeses, chocolates and mince pies...

Or perhaps it's because it's been way too distracting to have my office (aka the dining room) full of people...

Whatever the reason, daughter no.2 + boyfriend will be leaving shortly meaning that I will be alone for the first time in 2 weeks. So I will be left with no more excuses other than to actually get down to some work...

Although not a lot has been done for the past week or more, I have been doing a lot of thinking about my goals for the year ahead.

I want 2013 to be my most successful year ever...

Last year was OK, but it could have been so much better for me...

I made one rather fundamental mistake...

What was it I hear you cry...

I didn't set any proper goals so I had nothing to aim for.

This year I intend to correct that mistake.

And I recommend that you set some goals too.

Otherwise, the danger is that (rather like me last year) you will flounder around with no direction and end up accomplishing far less than you truly deserve.

Talk to any successful business person and they'll tell you that one of their secrets to success is setting themselves goals and deadlines.

Just let that sink in for a moment, because it is very important.... I'm talking about ANY business. Not just an online one...

Fail to plan and you plan to fail...

So I thought you'd really benefit from the free goal setting report I downloaded a couple of days ago. It's from Brian Tracy, one of the top professional business and personal success speakers and authors in the world today.

It requires an opt-in, but I think you'll find it very useful. I have nothing to gain from recommending it to you, I just thought it would be helpful to you, no matter which niche you're in:

I'd like to help you to reach your own goals in 2013 too, so it would be great if you could help me to help you by hitting reply to this email and tell me the following:

   * What is the biggest problem holding you back from success in 2013?

   * Where is your main focus going to be in 2013? ie Listbuilding, affiliate marketing, product creation, offline etc

I promise I'll reply to your email and I'll do my best to find ways to help you move forward in your business in the coming weeks and months...

But I don't know what would help you the most unless you tell me :)

I'll be sending you the next in the series of Wordpress tips videos tomorrow, so look out for my email then.

To your success in 2013! :)

Sally

PS. I'll be starting to share more in the Facebook group soon and I encourage you to join and ask your questions there too.

About the Author: Sally Lazarus is an Internet Marketer, wife, mother and massive geek…

She started out as a programmer many moons ago, before the Internet as we know it today was born… No, not in the 1970s. She's not that old! How rude! :P

She's been working online since late 2011. She doesn't claim to know it all. She's still learning too, but she wants to share her knowledge with you and help you succeed online.

She's an ethical marketer and loves helping people to reach their goals. When she sends out a promotion it will always be well thought out, even if it means sending it a day or two after launch.

She will investigate it properly beforehand, get hold of a review copy or buy it herself. She wouldn't recommend anything that she didn't believe in or wouldn't use herself.

Her aim is to save you time by doing the research for you, to make it easier for you to figure out if a particular product is likely to be able to help you reach your goals.
