Happy Friday! Did you notice it's March already? How on earth did that happen?!
You may remember I told you that daughter no.2 was ranking jobs on Monday?
Well on Tuesday she was told that an error had been made with the automatic marking machine...
So all 7000 medical students who thought they had a job on Monday were suddenly uncertain on Tuesday...
Leading to much worry on the part of daughter no.2...
She won't get her new marks until next Friday! Grr!
What a monumental cock-up in the week preceding finals! Not impressed :-/

I've been playing with my curated site a bit more today and I'm loving it! :D
It's very rare that I get this excited about anything...

Bear in mind that due to the Hostgator security settings the browser-based "submit" button doesn't work, but you can easily submit sites directly from my site.
Even hubby who isn't normally bothered about technology of any kind made his own curated site today!
I've set the automated content plugin to save as drafts so that I can retain quality control, but it's still a massive time-saver :)
I never really saw the benefit of content curation before, but it's actually pretty awesome for the following reasons:
- It allows you to build a blog pretty darn fast
- There's no problem finding a constant supply of fresh content
- Google loves curated sites and they often rank higher than the original article - just look at sites like the Huffington Post, Digg and Mashable :)
- Duplicate content is NOT an issue because you are only quoting an excerpt from each source with a link to the original website
- You can let your visitors register so they can add content for you too
- Sites can be built in any niche
- You can monetize the sites in a variety of ways
