Hi Friend,
I'm nearing the end of my vacation here in sunny Floridia. Hubby and I spent all day today at Disney's Hollywood Studios and I have the blisters to prove it! We did have an awesome time though :)
One of the more low-key attractions is a walk through the life and career of Walt Disney. Now I know Disney's particular brand of entertainment isn't necessarily to everyone's tastes (me, I love it but you probably figured that out already!)
But love him or hate him, the man's determination and vision shine through as an example to anybody running a business of any kind.
Walt Disney had big, big ideas and never let anybody tell him that he couldn't do something if he had set his sights on it - and he was proved right time and time again, with animated films, TV shows and theme parks.
"We did Disneyland, in the knowledge that most of the people I talked to thought it would be a financial disaster - closed and forgotten within the first year." - Walt Disney
That is a quote worth remembering, especially when you're first getting started online. "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
One of the most important things that it pays not to forget when you create your first sales site are the legal pages that you must have on your website if you don't want to get in trouble with the FTC.
If you haven't got a degree in Law, then it's difficult to know exactly what to put in your privacy policy. It certainly gave me pause for thought when I realised that I needed one.
If you're worried about getting all the legal mumbo jumbo right, then you'll be pleased to hear that I've found you a free privacy policy generator. All you do is enter a few details about your business and it generates a custom privacy policy just for you! :)
Then you just copy and paste the privacy policy text into the corresponding page in Wordpress and hey presto you're legal :)
You can find it here: https://www.freeprivacypolicy.com/
I'm going to be out of contact for the next few days, but I'm working on something special for you. I don't want to say too much now in case I can't pull it off, but if it works out, I'll be telling you more about it over the weekend, so look out for my email then.
Your partner in success!
Sally
