It's Sally Lazarus here. I hope you 've had a great couple of weeks since we last spoke :)
It's been an eventful week...
Firstly - and arguably most importantly to us geeks - the new Doctor Who was announced... It's Peter Capaldi in case you didn't know. He's a great actor, but I'm still having my doubts about him because I just LOVE Matt Smith's portrayal so much :)
Secondly, both Hostgator or Bluehost websites were down for much of Friday. Pretty shocking for such well known hosting companies.
Although I haven't had any problems with Hostgator in all the time I've been with them I'm going to have to think serioulsy about moving my sites elsewhere.
Finally, Optimize Press 2.0 launched and then closed again...
Something about ensuring a high level of service to all customers, which I guess is a good thing.
The new version looks pretty darn awesome, but I might just take a look at the new version of Profits Theme before taking the leap.
I'm not going to try to compete with the incredible bonuses on offer from other marketers so if you want to buy then I suggest finding one that gels with you...
John Thornhill & Omar Martin have a pretty spectacular one and Ricky Mataka's giving away WP Snapper.
Just watch out for information overload if you pick an affiliate with an enormous bonus.
In other news, I've been making a list of 150 ways I could make money (for my self-development course). The first 20-30 ways popped into my head fairly easily, but then I got stuck...
The idea is to find what you're most passionate about.
When you have to think of 150 reasons your subconscious has to come into play.
And to be fair I have come up with some interesting possibilities...
But I got stuck again around 110 reasons...
So I looked to the web for inspiration and I came across Tony Shepherd's 87 Strategies.
It's a bundle of 12 months of back issues from Tony's Affordable Mentoring Newsletter where he shares the strategies and techniques that he uses to bring money in every month.
Tony is a pretty smart cookie who has been making a very good living online for years and I buy pretty much everything he releases.
I downloaded the newsletters onto my Kindle and when into the garden to read them (any excuse to sit in the sun, lol!)
And I'm very glad I did. So far I've read half of the newsletters and I've come across some great ideas - three or four have gotten me pretty excited :)
