I hope your weekend was as awesome as mine! :)
I attended Daughter no.2's graduation ceremony on Friday. Although 99% of it was more mind numbingly boring than watching the hair on your head turn grey, it was lovely to see her up on stage collecting her degree...
I was so massively proud that I had a tear in my eye at times :'-)
She looked amazing in her mortar board hat and gown, which we all kept referring to as "robes"...
Just shows how deep into our psyches Harry Potter is embedded. Lol!
The rest of the weekend was spent having fun catching up with family, eating (too much) at various restaurants, going to see "The World's End" in the cinema (great movie!) and generally having a lovely time.
We even managed to sneak in a visit to The Doctor Who Experience, where we got to see various props and costumes from Doctor Who, including Daleks, Cybermen and even the Tardis interior...
Plus there was an incredible surprise that made it even more special, but I am sworn to secrecy so if I told you I would have to kill you! ;)
Because of all this I haven't been able to tell you about something that I'm rather excited about...
