Chapters 5-6: Parzival’s failure to ask the Question results in karmic situations he has not dealt with being presented to him – in reverse order. Pictures of failure and defeat, free will and destiny, morality and karma, all contributing to awakening and reconciliation. Sword of Anfortas, lance of Trevrizent. Virgin Sophia of spirit, soul, and body. Bereft Parzival falls under the spell of Lady Love, then is rescued and welcomed by King Arthur’s court. A warning is received.
