Good Morning!

Friend, these are words I share as a greeting, but they are also a powerful intention for what happens in your day.

No matter what time your day starts, how you start start it can make a HUGE difference in how the rest of the day goes. Mostly, because what we think is how we tend to feel. And, what we feel impacts our thoughts, decisions and actions.

Three simple tips for starting your day with a strong and supportive mind and energy:
  1. Before you get out of bed, take a minute or two of quiet, deep, slow breathing.  With your eyes still closed, and attention on your breath versus your to-do list.
  2. Set your intention for the day. Not what you will do or achieve but how you want to feel.
  3. Give a little smile and share a quick gratitude for whatever comes to heart or mind.  Say it silently or aloud to yourself, or the person sharing your bed.
You may want to take a moment to notice how you feel when you rise out of bed and carry that feeling with you through the day. Don't judge, just feel and revel in this feeling for a moment. Then, go forth and have a wonder-FULL day!
