Dry Red Wine Garnacha 2019. Breca - Calatayud, Spain
So many fantastic wines come from Spain and this bottle is a great example of why. Blackberry, plum, blueberry, and black cherry delight the tongue while subtle tones of chocolate and vanilla surprise the palate. What is there to say about Napa Cabernet Sauvignons that hasn't already been said. Probably the most well known area to grow these hearty grapes, this particular bottle has the extra advantage of being affordable, a trait not well known for Napa. Bold, tannic, dry with a notable smooth mouthfeel, notes of blackberry, plum, and cherry and raspberry come together in harmony.
