| Some Holiday Cheer
You might have seen that last week Jennifer Wilmoth participated in a special holiday dinner at the Indianapolis Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Over 600 meals were fed to men, women and children in need. Thanks Jennifer for supporting our community! You can learn more about the event here.
It is now the full blown rush to the finish line for 2021. I'm sure you have a lot on your agenda before slowing down for the holidays. Just a heads up, we will be closed on Friday December 24th (and the 25th and 26th) and also we will close at noon on Friday December 31st (along with January 1 and 2). We will still be on top of emergencies with all of our emergency vendors and a few of us will monitor that no balls fall through the cracks.
Enjoy the holiday season with family and friends over the next few weeks!

Prepaid Rent-Why It May Disappoint You |

| Recently we experienced an unusual request from a new tenant. A young couple had been given funds from a Grandparent that was to be used for rent. The Grandparent had requested that the funds pay for a year of rent. The reasons for making the request were entirely personal. From an accounting perspective, funds paid like this are called “prepaid rent.” It is great news for an owner.
Most owners though, are surprised to learn that those prepaid rent funds are not just moved into their account for their immediate use. |
