We are not usually the ones to encourage these lawsuits but this might be the exception. 

Property owners have an opportunity to attempt to recover business losses attributed to the unlawful CDC eviction moratorium. Our colleagues at the National Apartment Association have filed a lawsuit against the federal government seeking compensation for the financial damages suffered under the CDC order.

This lawsuit is open to all rental housing owners operating in a state or locality under the federal moratorium who have been damaged by the CDC eviction moratorium. You can get more information here.

One more interesting thing.  The CDC moratorium extension expires on October 3.  Any coincidence that the US Supreme Court returns from recess and begins hearing arguments again on Mon. Oct 4?  

The CDC knew what they were doing.
