Unfortunately these costs are hitting everybody in the pocketbook. This includes the vendors and contractors WILMOTH Group uses in maintenance.
Even more unfortunate, your properties continue to need maintenance and repairs. And bids are reflecting what you see at the grocery and gas station. Everything costs more. You can request more bids but you are going to see the same thing.
We review hundreds of bids weekly. There is no panacea contractor out there that is not pushing their increased fuel, materials and even labor costs through in their bids.
Everything costs more today than yesterday! We have a duty to provide a minimum standard of habitability. We don't want to make tenants wait and suffer while an owner seeks a bid that uses 2021 costs.
