Dearest Warriors,
It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that Rose the Van was lost to the covid pandemic. Don't cry, she wouldn't have wanted that.
The 18 months apart have been some of the hardest that we have ever known, but tailgating is back and so are we. Fear not, we will soldier on in Rose's memory. Andy Day will be performing a memorial DJ set live from San Francisco. Also, the 'Cats have yet to lose at home since Rose went to the big parking lot in the sky. We have no idea what the parking situation will be in the West Lot, but we have a solution to help you find us. Just look to the sky and find the wavy man and we'll be beneath him.
As always, we will have all the beer, fireball, and Claws you can drink and all the food you can eat, but one thing has changed. In our time away, our very own Patrick "Rusty" Grayhack has built a tailgating marketplace and app called Tailgreeter, think of it as Airbnb for tailgating. Our tailgate will be the first event that uses the app, so please book at https://tailgreeter.com/west-lot-warriors-northwestern-vs-michigan-state-university . You will notice that the event is free, but there is an option to donate after checkout and Pat is paying for this tailgate and a broke, startup employee, so please donate the standard 20 dollars per head if you are able and not a cheap bastard worthy of the scorn and distrust of all men.
