In todays Newsletter I want to share with you our latest demonstration on how to build Excel Dashboards and Reports better, cheaper and faster than any other way.
We believe that with hundreds of millions of Excel users building endless reports and dashboards a better, faster, cheaper way of doing that is something many people will be interested in.
I think you will be very interested to see how this works.
This second demonstration is for Excel "Power Users" who build Excel reports and dashboards for business managers.
In this demonstration we will show you how it is possible to generate Excel Dashboards containing just the data needed for the user of the dashboard.
So in this example we use the three sales territories of the Adventure Works database to generate three spreadsheets to be sent to the three "region managers" via the one drive features.
In this example the data is inside the spreadsheet that is sent to the user and the user does not need to be linked back to SSAS or other "cube" style product.
We think this is a better, cheaper, faster way to build and maintain Excel dashboards with the daily updates needed for many dashboards, perhaps even hundreds of them!
