A few blog posts ago we sent you a video with a detailed demo of how to build a report from a Business Central on Premise database using pseudo dimensional models + SQL.
This is a huge deal because it means that any operational system can be queried as a pseudo dimensional model using SQL that is as complicated as the database can understand and support.
The obvious limitation is this consumes cycles on the operational system.
All modern databases can replicate the production database and that will handle most of the load issues.
Todays video is a demonstration of the finished Excel report.
It shows how it is possible to just go into the Applications File Drawer, copy the application to the Meta5 Scheduler, and then run it on a schedule.
This shows how it is possible to create and / or sell Excel Dashboards to any company with any operational system, in our case Business Central.
