In our previous Newsletters we have shown you how we can query Navision 2018 data using Meta5.
In todays video demonstration we show you how we can query Business Central data using the Microsoft supported OData interface.
The OData interface is used to report on data for Business Central in the cloud.
To do this we use the CData Business Central 365 ODBC Driver.
Meta5 sees the presented OData interfaces as "tables".
So Meta5 can generate SQL that is sent into the CData driver and it can retrieve the results as if Business Central was just another database.
This is a very interesting demonstration because the same can be achieved across any source where CData ODBC Drivers are available.
