Monday again? How does this happen so fast?


The weekend slips away and we’re staring again at all these emails and deadlines and expectations from all around. Another full week to manage can weigh on us, particularly if there are numerous people jostling for our attention.


One of our friends has moved her kids to new schools this year, cutting out two hours a day in commute time. When we do something like that - find an extra 10 hours a week - it can seem impossible to know how we managed before.


Our friend has made the decision not to automatically fill her extra hours with work. It would be so easy to do. She’s leaning into self care instead, choosing to focus on at least one thing that gives her joy or a sense of rejuvenation or restoration. She’s a single mum, with a heavy workload, but she’s determined to make this happen.


How’s your buffer looking?


It’s vital to carve time and space to help us get through periods that are more stressful and hectic. It’s something we often help our Fast Forward clients achieve, because it’s the easiest thing in the world to put ourselves last.


While lots of our clients are achieving big professional milestones, some people hire us to help them slow down. They’ve got the work gig covered, and want accountability to prioritise their health and wellbeing or relationships. That flexibility is one of the things we love about our program.
