Isn’t it refreshing to read that? We’re so conditioned into thinking our time is limited, that we’re too busy, that there aren’t enough hours in the day.
But there is plenty of time. The thing that often needs tweaking is our approach to how we use it. When we see people who we regard as productive, we wonder how they do it. Usually it’s by focusing first on the main act in their schedule. The ‘little things’ will still get done (or they won’t, and it won’t really matter). But if we don’t think first about the big stuff, we’re destined for frustration.
So dine in three continents today, or climb Everest – or just spend a few hours on the ‘bang for buck’ thing on your list, so you get to tonight feeling like you’ve really made progress. It’s that feeling that is the magic of productivity, because getting momentum really is the secret.
