Greetings Friend,

Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Ethan, I am a marketing assistant for Simply Cuba Tours and I will be your friendly affiliate manager. I am a major sports fan and travel enthusiast, who loves interacting with people and working in teams to achieve a common goal. I look forward to working with you and supporting you to achieve your lifestyle goals, whilst inspiring you in becoming a well-established affiliate. My role for the affiliates program will involve coaching, supporting and inspiring you towards greatness.

We have updated our itineraries, now having three core offers which are niched to the photography enthusiast, which are:

Cuba Simply in Focus - Travel Photography

With an updated tour calendar, we are ready to begin marketing our 2022 tours. Due to the current climate, we will not be running any tours this year. When you are ready, you will need to update your affiliate link.

Excitingly, we will have various photography experts joining us to assist our customers. These experts are fully equipped with the knowledge and guidance to capture amazing photos whilst visiting Cuba. Bruce Hargrave and Lea Unwin-Smith are a couple of experts who are already committed to taking this journey with us.

We are continually updating our tours, with a current focus on our bird tours. We have updated our banners, uploaded new photos of Cuban endemic birds and attached other booklets that can be used in your marketing (see the buttons below👇). We've also received an email sequence by funnel builder, that we can provide for you!

It's Bird time!

Today's bird is the Cuban Amazon, even though Cuban is in it's name, you will also find this amazing bird in the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. Thankfully the conservation efforts worked with this lovely creature and their numbers have increased in the recent times.

It's a medium sized parrot, loves woodlands and dry forests. In Cuba you will mainly find it on the Isla de Juventud. They tend to hang out in flocks, except for the mating season, when they break up into pairs.

Their main diet consists of fruits and seeds, especially those of palm trees.

Guess what bird we have today?

The Flamingo! Aka the Carribean Flamingo or American Flaminco. This one is not an endemic in Cuba, but looks so pretty and majestic that I just had to share it with you. These beauties are around the North Coast of South America, Yucatan Penninsula and many Carribean islands, including Cuba. 🥰🦩

Cuba has some 70,000 nesting Caribbean flamingos and countless chicks, the largest colony in the Western Hemisphere. You can find these beauties on the Cienaga de Zapata or the Caguanes National Park. 💗

Flamingos love their seafood, when you are watching them you can find them leisurely catching fish, making the most of their long legs to every once in a while, dip their black beaks into the water and pull out some small fish or mollusck. Although they prefer to eat shrimp, whose carotenoid content gives the flamingos their intense and so greatly admired pink color. 🦐🐟

Whilst we cannot share their names just yet, we can tell you that they are of a very high calibre. For example, one of our underwater photographers has recently been featured on the cover of the BBC Wildlife Magazine!
