Hola Friend, Como estas? I have to say, I was hoping that things were starting to get back to normal with the roll out of vaccines around the world, but it seems not to be the case with UK now being on a staged plan and Canada going back into lockdown in some areas for 28 days. To be honest, I am not sure what is worse... just constantly not being able go anywhere outside one's country (like in Australia) or getting your hopes up to travel to then have it taken away... 🤔 We have had a massive week of planning last week. Started with reflecting on 2020. What a year... Not sure if you know but for us this is the humble beginnings. Yoanis and I have been talking about plans and this year we did it. Went out on our own... some may say it is crazy to start a tour company in the middle of a pandemic, but we saw it as an opportunity to take our time to set up foundations, create amazing tours and get things ready for when travel resumes. I am pretty proud of what we have achieved so far! And we have great dreams to build an amazing responsible, ethical tour company. We used Yoanis' many years of experience to design tours that provide the opportunity to learn about the communities we visit, their culture, their lifestyle and to support the communities in ways we can. Which is why we use casas, local guides and other service providers. We also encourage the reduction of waste, especially plastic and use specialist tours, like birdwatching, to go deeper into the effects tourism can have on the environment.
