Como estas? Can you believe that a fortnight has gone... time is flying so fast!
I have also realised that it has been 8 months since I was in Cuba last. It's amazing what happens when life gets in a way! And also when you are waiting for things to plan a holiday.. and you know what?? We all need one! We need some down time, to be able to recharge, let our hair down for a bit and enjoy life.
Whether it's a summer or winter getaway, it doesn't matter! You have to get out and discover places, try new cuisines, meet new people. And you know what! We can again!!! I have been speaking with some agents lately, I am glad to hear that people are out and about again, reconnecting with loved ones - family and friends We have all been hanging out for that! Hopefully next up is, travel for fun and discovery of new places!
I think it is great to get out and about, because so many people ( I know I speak for those in Australia and also in UK) are still reluctant to hop on a plane. Thinking that planning will be stressful, after all, there’s always the potential for flight delays, lost luggage (we all heard the scary stories out of Heathrow!), screaming kids, just to name a few unpleasantries. And I am so glad to hear, that once many break through the boundary of the fear of the 'unkown' that is travel these days, they come back and say, 'well, actually once I got going, it was easy!'.
Cuba of all places is one of the easiest places you can visit. No need for vaccine, no need for PCR, or for quarantine. No time limits on vaccinations. It is a place, back to normal pre-pandemic requirements - a Tourist card and travel insurance.
Sure, if you want to get out and about rather than stay in an all inclusive hotel, it is still not easy to arrange your itinerary... unless you want to do things on a fly... But that is why we are here. We have itineraries pre-planned with activities, transfers, transport, accommodation, guide, breakfasts and some other meals organised, Really all you have to do is turn up and have fun!
