At our travel company, we not only support the local people, but the way we travel offers a unique way of experiencing Cuba. When you visit, you become truly immersed in the rich culture of this beautiful country. And it's not just a one-way experience - you also have the opportunity to share your own culture with our guides and the Cuban people.
It's incredible to witness the exchange of cultural differences without judging one as superior. In fact, these interactions have the power to plant seeds that can grow into something extraordinary.
Exciting News: Yunior Embarks on Two Captivating Tours!
Today, Yunior sets off on two thrilling tours that will take him all over Cuba for an entire month. We are thrilled to have visitors exploring this incredible destination. However, we understand that there have been concerns about food, fuel, and electricity in Cuba. These challenges have been around for years.
Currently, the main concern is that some of the essential supplies can only be found in specialized stores or with foreign currency. And without tourism, access to these supplies becomes even more challenging for the local people.
So here's the difference when you choose to travel with us: We directly pay our suppliers in MLC (the specialised local currency) or foreign currency. This means that from your driver to your guide to the owners of the casas you stay in, everyone is supported. And when you visit, you can see firsthand the families whose livelihoods have been positively impacted by your travels. In Cuba, this support extends to the entire extended family, as generations often live together under one roof.
Explore Beyond the Tourist Trail: Venture to Hidden Gems in Cuba
We are delighted to share that our second tour will take you off the beaten path, beyond the popular Trinidad line. With limited time and internal flights yet to resume, it is rare these days to visit places like Camaguey, Santiago de Cuba, and Baracoa. Unless, of course, you fly directly to these destinations. But there's something truly special about discovering the true essence of the island on a land tour.
Even better news: Some of our previous accommodation providers, who were severely impacted by the pandemic, have reopened to meet the growing demand in these cities. In fact, some are already fully booked. This is a testament to the incredible recovery and resilience of these businesses.
Revisit and Rediscover: Welcoming Back Travelers to Havana
Not only are we excited to have new visitors, but we also have the pleasure of welcoming back those who had their trips cut short by the pandemic. This weekend, we're showing them around Havana, giving them the chance to finally complete the Cuban adventure they had to leave behind. We can't wait to hear their perspectives on the changes that have taken place since 2020.
