Como va tu semana? Mine's interesting being in a remote part of Australia. Internet is challenging at times 😍 that coupled with the perfect tropical weather, I feel a little 'home sick'.
I was even telling Yoanis that I am getting a little confused with my Spanish lessons. I find it is a lot easier to learn a language through an immersion of being in an environment where speaking the language you are learning is a must. Nevertheless, I will persevere. Do you have any tips? How do you learn a language? 🤔
The boys have advised that the rollout of the vaccine has now started outside of Havana also. No changes seem to have happened so far, the daily infections are still hovering around 1,000. However, there are talks of Cuba developing its own digital vaccination passport. With so many variations of this around among the varying countries, and even states withing bigger countries, it will be interesting to see this brought out. What are your thoughts on a vaccination passport? 🤨
Having a look around the globe, there are still no changes to entry requirements to Cuba. Had some good news in Canada - I hear Montreal allows outdoor gatherings again, albeit still small, with only 8 people. Restaurants re-opening, masks being optional and curfews being lifted. Hopefully, that means there are signs of life returning to normal. 🤞
Haven't had any feedback from UK, apart from confirming my confusion! Nevertheless, seems like some more of Europe is ready to re-open also. I have hopes for Europe yet! 💕
In the US, I have also had feedback from some areas that have been on lockdown for some time returning to normal. I have seen many travel magazines looking for info on road trips and family summer holidays. 😎
Seems like most places, but Australia, are moving forward. Another outbreak in Melbourne, flights within the bubble canceled this week, still no clear plan forward... in saying that, some international air carriers confirmed their intention to start flying in October. That'd be nice! 😍
Well, here's to keep hoping.... have commiserated 18 months apart yesterday. Beautiful weather, amazing connection (very grateful when the internet works)... too bad about the 16,000km distance... I love that we can still work so well together, apart 💖 and that we seem to be getting stronger and stronger as each month passes. One would say, we'll be rock solid together 💕
