Hola Friend, How are you this week! I am sorry I missed my normal mailing time, seems like Cuba wasn't the only one affected with bad internet connection this week! Have been experiencing the same on this end... Have to say I was reminiscing a little about what the world was like before the internet... and what it would be like to be on holiday again.... And whilst I keep dreaming, good news is that UK borders are due to open again and Cuba is on the green corridor. Meaning that there is no quarantine requirement upon your return from holiday. How exciting! But only if it was that simple... There are new tiers and restrictions around the UK, so you need to check the rules relating to your area. You can get the latest updates from here. In Cuba there are no changes this week. PCR test rules remain unchanged and the three provinces, Pinar del Rio, Sancti Spiritus and Ciego de Avila are still closed. We are hoping that they will re-open in the coming weeks. On partner fronts, we have partnered with World Nomad, a leading travel insurer to be able to provide you with access to travel insurance. (Unfortunately they do not cater for Canada at the moment, still working on other options for that) And JetRadar to provide you with access to search and book best flight deals around. If you are looking for other options please let us know! I do have to reiterate here, that we are a tour company. Providing sustainable tours around Cuba, specialising in casa stays because we want to give you a great cultural immersion and a chance to see more of Cuba than just one area. Hotel packages are NOT us. On the blog today, we ventured a bit further to the east. Discover some amazing architecture and a great Afro-Cuban music scene and revolutionary history... ere |
