Hi,

just a quick heads up on some support issues that a few people have had,
most especially for Mac users on more recent version of the OS, v 10.7 and
up.

If you are seeing a WordPress installation page when you run
/localhost/wpsim/ then we now have a new installation file that fixes this,
and we have updated the Mac Installation Tutorial video to go with the new
file.

Please download the new WPSimulator Mac Xampp.zip file and follow the
instructions in the Mac Installation Tutorial video.

Note: when you get to the stage in the video where I show how to check file
and folder permissions, you can actually try and load up localhost/wpsim/
at that point and if it all works you're good to go.

The checking of file permissions part of the video is just to make double
sure you are up and running properly and how to fix the permissions problem
if you do experience it.

The problem has been caused by folder permission problems in the latest
version of MAC OS.

We've also tweaked the installation for more speed as well.

We have had a few other requests that we are looking in to providing for
members as soon as we can, including a step by step pdf install guide, and
an alternative cloner to the Duplicator plugin.

We will update you via email when these are done, but please always
remember to check the member news items under the welcome video on the
Members Home page when you login to see the latest news items.

oh, and don't forget there are 3 iPad mini's up for grabs, the details of
that are also on the Member Home page... :-)
