Subject: [JV] New WPSimulator launch + BlogDefender Price rise...

Hi,

first up, we're going to be putting the price up on BlogDefender on 25th
April, from $17 to $27

The PCDefender upsell will be staying at $19.95

We're raising the price because BlogDefender will be the second upsell for
our upcoming WPSimulator launch, and that upsell offer will be at the old
$17 price.

This does mean that this price rise combined with the massive worldwide
brute force WP attacks going on right now give you an excellent chance to
shoot out a quick mailing for BlogDefender before the price rise... :-)

I've included a brand new example swipe email below with some info about
the current attack and some simple advice, check it out further down the
page.

We're still seeing consistant high conversions (BlogDefender is converting
at 9.3% overall, and PCDefender at 20.55%) and super low refund rates,
under 2%, so as we planned, BlogDefemder is proving to be a true
"evergreen" product!

We've added a screenshot of the current JVZoo numbers to the
http://blogdefender.com/partners/ page so you can see for yourself, and you
can grab your affiliate links from there...

WPSimulator is a pro development tool that allows people to have a full
copy of their WordPress site running locally on their pc, laptop or Mac, so
they can fully develop new & existing sites locally before making them live
online, as well as letting them work on their sites offline, and test out
new plugins & themes for problems and conflicts.

It not only removes all the fear of 'playing' with a live WP site for
newbies, it also works for advanced and expert users to get everything just
right before publishing content or moving to new themes.

We also have a few high value extras going in to WPSim that people will
love, I'll let you get a taste of them once we have the sample sales page
up for you to view.

We'll have a teaser video of WPSimulator in action on the partners page
soon

We're opening the doors at Noon EST on Wed April 1st

WPSimulator will be on a dime sale running from $27 to $47, with 50%
affiliate commissions

The 1st upsell is also a brand new, unreleased product, WPCheat, that is a
massive collection of Copy & Paste content creation cheats that allow users
to create professional styled content fast!

WPCheat will be a fixed $19.95 with 50% affiliate commissions.

If you're interested in getting early review access please get in touch and
I'll get you sorted out with a membership to both in the next week.

10% of WP Blogs may already be hacked...
Does your blog login use the username "admin"..?

Hi,

since the 9th April web hosts across the globe have been experiencing the
most widespread brute force attack against WordPress sites ever!

The "Botnet" in question is using over 90,000 unique IP addresses (from
compromised/hacked computers across the world) and attacking a large number
of hosts across the globe, specifically targeting WP Blogs.

Brute force attacks against WordPress have trebled in recent months!!!

Even big web hosts have been warning their customers about this, some have
even had to take drastic measures to keep their servers and their customers
sites up and running, even so far as to globally disable access to
wp-login.php on sites, so their owners are locked out until the host can
put a better solution in place.

This botnet is mainly targeting /wp-login.php and /wp-admin to try and get
access using brute force, and obviously the main target for login attempts
is the default username "admin".

Does your blog login use the username "admin"..?

The top passwords targetted include some fairly obvious one's, make sure
you're not using something as weak as any of these:

admin
123456
666666
111111
12345678
qwerty
1234567
password
12345
123
123qwe
123admin
12345qwe
12369874
123123
1234qwer
1234abcd
123654
123qwe123qwe
123abc
3123qweasd
123abc123
12345qwert

if you are using something like this then you may already be hacked...

so what about some practical advice...

The most important thing you can do right now is:

1. Make sure you have a super strong password
2. check out **##BlogDefender Affiliate Link##** for a full, step by step,
WordPress security tutorials to secure your blog now...

Extras:

1. delete any unused plugins & themes
2. setup an "admin" that doesn't use the name "admin", and delete the one
that does
3. make sure all your plugins, themes & version of WP are up to date

NOTE: BlogDefender is going up in price on April 25th, so act now, before
your blog gets hacked...

#####End#####

note: we've also now added PCDefender in to JVZoo as a stand alone product,
so if you prefer to promote that on it's own you can now do so.
