This is the one that many people falter on.
Our lives are so busy that today’s best-laid plans are tomorrow’s ruins.
Remember this saying, for it is completely true. What you focus on is what you get; so if you don’t like what you’re getting, then change
your focus.
Setting a goal is great; but not looking at it every day and implementing the plan you created for it is a waste.
It’s like spending hours researching a car, buying it, putting it in the driveway but never filling the tank with gas and then complaining that you never go anywhere.
Example:
Do you know anyone who has bought a premium membership to a gym, and who has never gone and wondered why they haven’t lost weight?
I guess the gyms don’t work?
Remember, if a goal was worth setting, it is worth focusing on.
Action Step:
When you are not happy with the outcome of a particular situation, step back and refocus yourself on what you desire – and not the obstacles in front of you at the time.
