Dear Friend,

We are now in the first quarter of a new year. Adult Literacy classes and Savings Groups continue to meet, and refresher training will be rolled out to program staff and community-based volunteers. Financial literacy, business skills and trauma-healing training will also continue.

This year we will also assess the impact of the program in South Sudan, which has piloted a new program component of trauma-healing workshops for Savings Groups.  This will provide valuable insight into how Savings Groups, coupled with trauma healing, can be an effective tool for community peace building.

We are so excited about the many lives that have been transformed by these programs. We are even more excited about the many MORE lives that will be transformed. The work is never complete, so we continue onward and upward.
