Dear Friend,

We continue to hear stories and feel inspired by our staff who recently traveled to meet with our partners in Burundi and Kenya.

Yesterday, Angela Jordan shared some of her impressions with us. She spoke of the great courage and hard work of our program leaders. She said, “I’ve seen it before in our Five Talents documents, but it’s hard to understand until you witness it up close. These program leaders do so much with so little. And they were working so hard.”

Many of our partners are volunteers, who over the last five years have received a simple cell phone that can send texts, a bicycle, and a Bible. Some, who have continued to volunteer for five years, also receive a bolt of local cloth each year around Christmas.

I could only sit in silence and gratitude. What privilege it is to be able to work with these wonderful leaders.
