I was so grateful to be able to travel last week to Kenya again. First time in almost three years because of the pandemic.

This was a gathering of 35 of Five Talents lead trainers from 11 different countries. And can these folks dance!

What a celebration; some of our partners had been through severe Covid lock downs, and most had not seen each other for five years. It was certainly an important time for refresher training. But perhaps more important, it was a time to pray, to sing, and to dance with others who work through very difficult challenges to help program members lift themselves out of poverty.

This reminded me of the important support role we play. It reminded me how talented these local leaders are. And it reminded me how well this program structure works; our local leaders are the key to strong, cost-effective implementation that leverages the generosity of our donors like you.
