Praying for Rwanda and the Sudans

I was heartbroken to hear this news. There has been recent severe flash flooding and landslides in the western part of Rwanda along Lake Kivu, in the Diocese of Karongi, our program partner there. This area has been severely impacted, as documented in this BBC article: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-65469374

Annonciata, our Rwanda Coordinator, asked for prayers especially for the  Savings Groups in that area, as they have planted crops that are lost, along with many damaged homes. Many people are injured, and many health centers are inaccessible due to damage to roads and bridges.  The water supply is critical as the water treatment plants have also been flooded.

Please pray for our partners in Rwanda, especially in the Diocese of Karongi, that they may receive some relief. And please continue your prayers for the ongoing conflict that is impacting Sudan and our program in South Sudan.
