A few weeks ago we heard the upsetting news that one of our incredible local partners had died. A group of us were privileged to have met Jacqueline before the pandemic, and we were all taken by her infectious enthusiasm and her passion for her work. That is something we could say about every one of our partners.

Jackie led one of the satellite offices in the Diocese of Morogoro, Tanzania, and she proudly introduced us to a number of her successful members - their happiness and pride in what they’d achieved also shone through. They loved and trusted her.

Jackie was a young wife and mother of two; her youngest was just three months old. Her death was caused by cancer and was so swift that few of us realized the severity. Let us give thanks for Jackie’s work and pray for her family, her colleagues, and her group members as they come to terms with their loss.
