Subject: A Fond Farewell

Dear Friend,

This is my last weekly email to you, our Five Talents friends and supporters. I can’t believe it’s been six years for me here, and somehow through these messages, it feels like I’ve gotten to know many of you.

Since I spent most of my career working as an engineer, I never dreamed when I first heard that Five Talents was looking for a CEO, that I would be right for the position. This job requires far too much patience, too much listening, far too much sensitivity to what people are saying (or not saying) than an engineer like me can muster! But I guess God wasn’t done with me yet.

What a blessing these years have been. As I’ve told friends, “it’s the toughest job I’ve ever had...and the best.”

I am so grateful for wonderful co-workers, extraordinary partners worldwide and the chance to visit with them in eight countries, supportive and talented board members, and of course you, our faithful friends. None of us could do this alone, but somehow together, we accomplish amazing things for such a small organization.

Many have worked hard to build a Five Talents program structure that can literally change the world. So, even though I am sad to retire next Wednesday the 14th, I am confident to turn over my responsibilities to a great team. And I am grateful that they have decided to keep me on as a “Senior Advisor.”  For so many reasons, I am grateful that the best days are ahead.

God bless you,

Dale Stanton-Hoyle

CEO
