Today, the crowd cheered while Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed SB 25. 

How disgusting!

Effective immediately in Illinois:
Abortion is now a "fundamental right." IL law states that a "fertilized egg, embryo or fetus does not have independent rights.”

This law legalizes:
  • Late term abortion up to birth for any reason
  • Partial birth abortion
  • non-physicians to perform medical abortions

This law removes:
  • Parental notification (even for a 13 year old)
  • Any criminal penalties for abortions
  • Most health standards & regulations of abortion facilities (no annual health inspection)
Plus, this law mandates private insurance plans under IL authority provide coverage for elective abortions. And you can guess where the money will come from for insurance providers to cover this.


Yes, I am sick to my stomach, heartbroken, and saddened by this. But I refuse to sit back in frustration - and neither can you.

In the last email, I told you: 

We will not falter, will not fail, and will not give in.

Thank you for all those who prayed. Never underestimate the power of prayer.

It is prayer that led me to act boldly.

And I just led weDignify to take a huge step forward.

I signed an agreement with the March for Life Chicago to make this March bigger than ever before and build our shared vision of a culture of life.

And, I even hired another staffer to do so. 

I refuse to allow lawmakers to so callously disregard the lives of our brothers and sisters. 


Today, Gov. Pritzker called for women to come from all over the country to come to Illinois for abortion and likened it to a place of refuge for "reproductive healthcare."

There is nothing healthy about the intentional ending of a child's life. 

Give now so we can bring people from all across the Midwest to flood into Chicago to stand for life.


Soon, I can share more with you on how we are helping expand the March for Life Chicago. 

But for now, know that our commitment to mentor students and saving lives has never been more steadfast and passionate.
