On an otherwise empty summer campus at the University of Illinois, dedicated students sacrificed a weekend of their summer and traveled to join us for an incredible three days of pro-life community and formation (One student leader drove 6 hours from Michigan!)
At weDignify's Bootcamp, these student leaders really stood up. They learned and they took action - preparing for a year where they will teach to change hearts, serve to save lives, and lead the pro-life movement.
When we asked them why they were part of weDignify, what it did for them, they didn't hesitate. They called out their responses from around the table:
- It builds us up as leaders! - We are each cared for and valued. - We have a community with shared values. - Small groups provide us with pro-life knowledge. - We are equipped for discussion about abortion. - We have the opportunity to take action! - It rekindles our passion in our (pro-life) beliefs. - It connects us to a national network of pro-life leaders. |
