Dear Friend,

Junior at U of I, Lauren reflected on the Spring semester:

“Initially, when we were told we wouldn’t be going back to campus, I just thought everything was cancelled.”

And that was the case for many programs, but not weDignify.

“Mentoring throughout quarantine never failed to remind me of the importance of our mission, especially during this time,” Lauren shared.

WeDignify forms strong ties to save lives and those strong ties enabled students to quickly pivot to video calls for mentoring and small groups.

“It was understood that we needed to continue- our pro-life work is still important.”

In fact, Lauren’s first virtual small group was during spring break.

“I saw how the abortion industry was targeting vulnerable young women during this crisis, how new programs were violating human rights and harming women. I began sharing everything I was learning on my social media, in my small group, and with our chapter.

I even led more small groups than originally planned! I’m really thankful to be surrounded by leaders and friends, who passionately desired to continue on with our activities and encouraged me to do so.”

Thank you for teaching Lauren and many more to be pro-life leaders!

Loving Life,

Maria Ignacio
