Hi Friend,
Happy Sunday! And if you're celebrating Easter or Passover this week, I hope you've found a way to connect with loved ones and keep some of your favorite traditions alive.
A silver lining Most of us are improvising and doing things differently this year, but a silver lining is that people are adapting and getting creative. And that's evidence of our resilience during this challenging time. We're living the stories we'll be telling years from now; without realizing it, I think we're probably making some new traditions in the process. In that vein, I wanted to share this pic from my parents, who are in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Their creativity made me smile (this sure beats cooking in the laundry room!). Hopefully they're willing to repeat this cookout whenever we can all be together! Sharing pictures regularly has also been such a helpful way to stay connected. |
| | Since our children are so young, we're still figuring out the right balance of traditions from our childhoods and new ones we want to create when it comes to holidays. We've decided to be candy-free and use personalized fabric Easter bags and wooden eggs to minimize waste. I think it'll be fun to reuse (and maybe re-dye!) these eggs in the years ahead.

| | In case you're in the market for... Rosé. It's almost that time of year and Dry Farm Wine* is doing some special rose features. Today is the last day for the Spring Rosé selection, which is 3 or 6 bottles available for either a one time buy or a 3-month temporary subscription. A Mother's Day option is launching soon - more to come. Easy snack and lunch ideas... No-bake cinnamon raisin snack balls. They're full of healthy ingredients that you might have in your pantry like hemp hearts, ground flax, chia seeds, almond butter, unsweetened coconut flakes, raisins (or maybe that's just because I have a toddler!), etc. The point is: they're full of really good stuff, low in sugar, adaptable (no hemp hearts, no problem), and they're yummy. |

| | I've also been loving my Siete cassava tortilla creations lately. Paleo sandwich wraps and cauliflower quesadillas with a little bit of shredded cheese have been a great addition to my lunch routine, so I wanted to share in case you're in need of some inspiration.
