METAPHYSICAL PICNIC - Saturday, September 21 (12-3 PM)

It is time for the annual Metaphysical Picnic sponsored by The Meditation Center in Sylva, NC. As always, plan to bring something to drink and a dish to share, and enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded folks from all over the area. There’s lots of room to play, and there is a grill, so feel free to bring lawn games and great food for all!

BOARD ELECTIONS IN NOVEMBER

In November, we will elect new board members for the 2025-2026 calendar years. If you are interested in serving on the board or know someone who is, please speak to a board member. Their contact information is below in the Contact Info section of this newsletter.

LAST WEEK

Rev. "Faerie" Elaine Silver's message, "Prayer Through Song", had us singing and praying together. Her message and music will be online in a few days.

In the afternoon, we had perfect weather and enjoyed another fabulous concert on the deck with Loose Shoes Duo serving up musical fun in the form of insightful originals and covers on request.

And as always, the audience was having fun!

This was our last deck concert of the season. Watch the newsletter and/or website for when the 2025 season begins.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

When GOD opens a door

and it looks dark on the inside,

don't fret.

You are forgetting one thing:

you are light

and only when you go in

does it light up.
